I was really excited to receive a bag with five PomPoms
yesterday – the first ones to arrive.
The maker, who wishes to remain anonymous (thanks Mum!), had great fun
choosing her five words to accompany the PomPoms. Initially she couldn’t think of anything but
then we had a laugh as she thought of names of pop groups (I didn’t even know
my Mum had heard of Meatloaf) and progressed onto titles of TV quizzes. I’m hoping she’ll make a few more to use up
all the words she thought of in the end...
Her advice to anyone making one for the PomPom Festival
is to use at least two strands of wool at once as it goes quicker.
